Patricia Joan Murphy is the Worth Township Supervisor and daughter of former Cook County Commissioner Joan Patricia Murphy. She previously ran for this same seat in 2018. She is considered one of the stronger candidates in this open-seat race and has received endorsements including from Alexi Giannoulias, multiple Cook County commissioners, and the Chicago Tribune.
